SINOPSIS
Caractacus Potts (Van Dyke) es un excéntrico inventor que ha conseguido convertir un viejo coche de carreras en un vehículo capaz de volar y flotar en el agua. Lo ha bautizado con el nombre de Chitty Chitty Bang Bang y en él viaja con su padre (Lionel Jeffries), sus hijos (Heather Ripley y Adrian Hall) y su novia (Sally Ann Howes) a un mundo mágico de piratas y castillos, donde viven aventuras sin fin. Juntos se enfrentarán al Barón Bomburst (Gert Fröbe) y a otros villanos.
